We completed a FULL renovation in January 2006 where no surface was left untouched. The entire unit was demolished and rebuilt as new, with a new kitchen, a new bathroom, all new appliances and new fixtures. Plus, we floored the entire unit with luxurious oversized Italian porcelain tile.
Our Kihei Ali'i Kai one bedroom, one bath condo is a large, 700 square foot, ground floor unit that opens onto a lush, undeveloped parcel of land affording an amazing amount of solitude. This paradise is best enjoyed from our oversized 150 sqft. lanai.
There is a queen bed and 24" flat screen TV with DVD and VCR in the bedroom plus a proper queen-size sleeper sofa in the main living area. We also offer twin and/or full-size portable floor mattresses for extra guests. Our condo is newly furnished with a big screen TV and 24,000 BTU A/C unit in the living room ! Plus, we provide a full sized washer/dryer set right in the unit. As a bonus, there are boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, plenty of beach towels and many other odds and ends already in the condo so you don't need to buy or rent this stuff while out here.
We do also provide FREE BROADBAND INTERNET complete with a computer or, of course, you are welcome to use our WiFi connection if you prefer to bring your own !
The Kihei Ali'i Kai is a nice, quiet complex with pool, spa and tennis courts. Our unit is near the pool and only about 150 yards from Kama'ole Beach Park I and the Pacific Ocean.

They also have a washer and dryer, TV and VCR, appliances, dishes, towels, etc. Our condos are located in the best part of the complex with a direct view of the ocean and only a lawn to separate us from the beach!

A path leading to the west end of Anini Beach begins just a few feet from the front door of the condo. Eight minutes of walking down the steep bluff will reward you with a secluded sandy beach with good snorkeling sheltered by a coral reef. We have recently completed an extensive remodel of this 1-bedroom condo at Wavecrest Resort. This condo has a great view and convenient access to the extensive gardens and grounds. One unique aspect of this condo is that it looks out to the ocean and Maui through two flowering Plumeria trees (a white one and a red one) which have their branches intertwined. It is the only condo out of 125 that has this uniquely romantic and more private view. Given our condo is on the ground floor it has an added advantage of your being able to walk right out of the living room onto the lanai and then onto the lush grounds without having to walk out of the back of the building and down (or up) the stairs and around the entire building to get to the grounds, pool, BBQ and ocean. The kitchen has new cabinets, nice granite counters and travertine stone floors throughout. The furnishings are nice with extra touches such as reverse osmosis filtered water and a pillow-top king bed.

The airport is only 30 minutes &Waikiki is only 45 minutes away; The 5 Star Resort at Ko'Olina is only 20 minutes away. Restaurants, shopping, five star resorts, spas in both areas. Golf is 5 minutes away, where there are two championship golf courses across the street. Waterpark is 20 minutes away. There is also variety of fast food along Farrington Hwy.
Swimming, snorkeling, diving, fishing, and surfing available all around the islands, but Makaha is famous for all of the above. There is a boat Harbor within walking distance from the condo next to Waianae High School where you can go on a trip for whale watching or swim with the dolphins boat ride.
Makaha is gorgeous and a jewel that is the best kept secret only most of locals really know about and explore. Although growing with the tourist population, you won't be immersed in it here! There is now a Starbucks & Jamba Juice recently opened for those coffee lovers & fresh fruit drinkers.

They include Honomalino Beach and nature walk (a black sand beach), Milolii Beach Park (a very old fishing village), Hookena Beach Park (a salt and pepper beach famous for spinner dolphins and snorkeling), historic Place of Refuge National Park (with excellent snorkeling, picnic tables under palm trees and Hawaiian cultural displays, old royal canoe landing, ancient walls and dating from the 1500's) and very pristine Kealakekua Bay and Marine Preserve. It is in the heart of ranches, coffee and macadamia nut farms and mills, as well as country stores and fruit stands offering locally grown produce. Also nearby are the old Painted Church (wall murals), Hawaiian Ethnobotanical Garden and a wonderful ornate Buddhist temple open to visitors. There is also a variety of restaurants a short drive away. Or it is easy to drive into "downtown" Kailua-Kona for extensive shopping, dining, movie theaters, fishing, boat harbor and night-life. Volcanoes National Park is a easy day trip.
The home boasts tile and hardwood floors and a new fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances. Thank you for responding to craigslist.com. SIMPLY AWESOME! Just steps from the condo to the powdery white sandy beach. This is an actual one bedroom that sleeps four comfortably. Avoid lengthy elevator waits on your vacation. This unit is on the ground floor which is the most preferred location.
This usually rents for $184 per night but I am adjusting the rate down temporarily. It is not one of those studios with a small bed niche that others in the building try to pass off as a one bedroom. It has a Deluxe King bed in the bedroom and two futon couches. There is a full kitchen with two sinks, large refrigerator, stove/oven, pots, pans, dishes and silverware, paintings of ocean and ocean life and track lighting. Enjoy the LCD TV in the parlor. The latest upgrades cost about $80,000. You will enjoy visiting because part of the time you have the white sandy beach completely to yourself (Yes it is always safe). The area (Hauula) is on the opposite side of the island from the airport and Waikiki. About 45 minutes to an hour drive. It is not far from the Polynesian Cultural Center (about a 10 min.drive). The city bus line picks up directly in front of the unit. Sunset Beach is about 15 minutes away. Baywatch Hawaii was filmed about 25 minutes away in Haleiwa and North Shore on FOX was filmed 20 minutes away in the same direction. "Lost" is presently filming in Waialua past Haleiwa. Foodland Supermarket is a major chain in Hawaii and has one ten minutes away. The building is eight stories high. Avoid lengthy elevator waits on your vacation. It is thirty steps to a white secluded sandy beach. The ocean is calm because of a reef 1/4 mile out which blocks the waves. It is perfect snorkeling and swimming. The building has amenities like professional Bar-b-que area, workout/weight gym with dry sauna, swimming pool next to your unit and sunning area behind your unit. There is a small convenience store across the street to your left which is connected to a Subway Sandwich Franchise. Your parking stall is included and located right in front of the unit.
The unit extends from one end of the building to the other and measures approximately 800 sq. ft.

Our Ali'i Kai Master Suite Studio was FULLY renovated in January 2006. This sharp little studio offers a new bathroom with granite walk-in shower and Kohler fixtures, king-size bed, private lanai, ceiling fan, powerful A/C and 24" flat screen TV with VCR & DVD. It sports a cute kitchenette with granite counter, maple cabinets, micro-convection oven, coffee maker and mini-fridge. Plus, the entire unit is covered with luxurious Italian porcelain tile. Be aware that there is no cooktop or local phone.
We provide beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a cooler plus BBQ utensils for use with the professional quality propane grill in the pool area just outside.

I have several one and two bedroom condos for vacation rental, either by the night, week or month. Rental rates range from $134/nt plus tax and a one-time cleaning fee of $75 from mid-December to April and $109/nt plus tax and cleaning from April to mod-December. They are oceanfront, with one having a garden view and only steps to the beach.
The two bedroom condos rent from $175 to $200/nt from mid-December thru April and $140 to $160 from May to mid-December. Also plus tax and a one-time cleaning fee of $90. They are all oceanfront. Discounted rates are available for long stays.
I also have a one bedroom cottage available.
All rentals are fully furnished, most with washer/dryers right in the condo itself. The cottage also has a washer/dryer available. They are equipped with beach chairs and towels, boogie boards, books to read, movies to watch, plenty of bath towels and bed linens, fully equipped kitchens and you'll even find a home-made banana bread and some Maui made jelly waiting for you on the kitchen counter upon arrival.

The island's 112 miles of coastline allows for more than 130 beaches, making for one of the most scenic drives in the world. Swim at your own risk, and try not to cause any accidents while driving around the island.
Assuming you're in Waikiki, you'll find a 2-mile string of a dozen beaches just outside your doorstep. They stretch from the Ala Wai Yacht Basin to Diamond Head and are known as Kuhio, Sans Souci, Gray's and Kahanamoku. Ala Moana Beach Park, just west of Waikiki, is a favorite of local residents.
Another popular South Shore beach is Hanauma Bay Nature Park on Kalaniana'ole Highway just past Hawaii Kai in East Honolulu. Hanauma Bay is great for snorkeling and sunbathing, but expect it to be crowded. Back on the highway headed east, you'll travel along a rugged swell-splashed coastline interrupted first by Sandy Beach and then by Makapu'u. Both beaches are beautiful, but sometimes treacherous. (Lifeguards make more rescues at these two beaches than anywhere else in Hawaii.)
Continue on down the highway to Waimanalo Town, where you'll find Waimanalo Bay Recreational Center and Beach Park, a 4-mile stretch of generally safe always beautiful white sand beach. Kailua Bay, a favorite windsurfing and sailing location, offers three miles of sand, small shorebreaks for the beginning bodysurfer, windsurfing lessons and relatively deserted stretches of beach.
Along the coast to the North Shore are several beach parks of note-Kualoa, Kahana, Hau'ula and Mala'ekahana, all beautiful and uncrowded except on weekends. Next come Oahu's major surf spots. Known as the 7 Mile Miracle stretch from Sunset Beach to Haleiwa, beaches include Rocky Point, Ehukai Beach Park, Banzai Pipeline, Pupukea and Waimea Bay.
During winter months, waves may reach heights of up to 25 feet making these beaches definitely off limits to casual swimmers. But then, you can always watch the big wave riders.
Water safety tips worth remembering: consult lifeguards about ocean conditions before entering the water; heed all warning signs; never swim alone; never go out farther than you can swim; if you see someone in distress call for a lifeguard or dial 911; know your limits — if in doubt, don't go out; and never take what you can't carry (leave your valuables at home.)
Skin precautions are also recommended. Adjust to the sun gradually and use a broad-spectrum sunblock cream or lotion with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15, maybe 21 or higher. (Many Oahu lifeguards use 30+ SPF.)
Your journey begins as you head to the windward side of the Island over the Ko’olau Mountains. Located at the base of a stunning 2,000-foot lush green cliff lies the fabled Valley of the Temples and picturesque Byodo Temple. Traveling North to Kahana Bay, your guide will happily point out native plants and seabird species at Laie Point before arriving at Kahuku where you’ll visit several shrimp farms for a glimpse of some endangered wetland birds.
Further North you’ll arrive at the famous North Shore beaches, Sunset Beach and Banzai Pipeline offer incredible waves that thrill viewers and professional surfers during the winter months, November-April. Photo opportunities await at Hale O Lono Heiau, one of Oahu's best preserved temples. Situated inside the lush Waimea Valley, this unique archaeological site is an excellent site to learn about Hawaiian native religion.
Finishing your journey are stops at Turtle Beach, colorful historic Haleiwa Town and Dole Plantation.
