Our condo can be rented in its entirety, or you may rent one of its two separate "lockout" units. Rental choices include:
(a) the Bedroom Unit with king bed, bath, and breakfast nook (sleeps 2); or
(b) the Studio Unit with living room, kitchen, queen-size wall bed, and bath (sleeps 2); or
(c) the entire condo which includes both the Studio Unit and the Bedroom Unit (sleeps four max).

Condo amenities include air conditioning, cable TV and DVD player. Bedroom unit has its own breakfast bar including a half-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and cabinetry.

We completed a FULL renovation in January 2006 where no surface was left untouched. The entire unit was demolished and rebuilt as new, with a new kitchen, two new bathrooms, all new appliances and new fixtures. Plus, we floored the entire unit with luxurious oversized Italian porcelain tile.

Our Kihei Ali'i Kai two bedroom, two bath condo is a large, 945 square foot, end unit that opens onto a lush, undeveloped tract of land affording an amazing amount of solitude. With two separate lanais, one for the main living area and one for the master suite, its quite well designed to accommodate larger groups. This is a TRUE two bedroom, two bathroom condo with double lanai frontage and NOT merely an open loft over a one bedroom, one bathroom layout.

The Kihei Ali'i Kai is a nice, quiet complex with pool, spa and tennis courts. Our unit is near the pool and only about 150 yards from Kama'ole Beach Park I and the Pacific Ocean. We have a king bed in the master suite, a queen in the second bedroom and a proper queen-sized sleeper sofa in the main living area. Also, we offer twin or full-size portable floor mattresses for extra guests. Our condo is newly furnished with a big screen TV in the living room and 24 inch flat screen TVs in both bedrooms. All three are equipped with VCR and DVD players. We provide a full sized washer/dryer set right in the unit. Plus, there is a powerful 24,000 BTU A/C unit in the living room and another brand new 10,000 BTU unit dedicated to the master bedroom suite. As a bonus, there are boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, plenty of beach towels and many other odds and ends already in the condo so you don't need to buy or rent this stuff while out here.

We do also provide FREE BROADBAND INTERNET complete with a computer or, of course, you are welcome to use our WiFi connection if you prefer to bring your own !

Our location is at the beginning of Kawaihau Rd, half-mile walk across Kuhio Hwy to the Kealia beach with miles of paved trail along the coastline where you can enjoy swimming/snorkeling in the ocean (with Lifeguard on site), relaxing/tanning on the beach, or walk alongside the lava rocks to the pier to enjoy the sight and sound of pounding waves. If you walk further you reach the secret Donkey Beach with a 360� panoramic view from above that will cast your breath away. . .

About 3 miles from where we are you can hike to the Ho'opii secluded falls on Kapahi Rd. Also 4 miles from here is the Makaleha Falls hike at Kahuna Rd where you can find a bamboo forest. Thank you for responding to craigslist.com. SIMPLY AWESOME! Just steps from the condo to the powdery white sandy beach. This is an actual one bedroom that sleeps four comfortably. Avoid lengthy elevator waits on your vacation. This unit is on the ground floor which is the most preferred location. This usually rents for $184 per night but I am adjusting the rate down temporarily. It is not one of those studios with a small bed niche that others in the building try to pass off as a one bedroom. It has a Deluxe King bed in the bedroom and two futon couches. There is a full kitchen with two sinks, large refrigerator, stove/oven, pots, pans, dishes and silverware, paintings of ocean and ocean life and track lighting. The heavy duty washer/dryer comes in very handy. Enjoy the LCD TV in the parlor. The latest upgrades cost about $80,000. You will enjoy visiting because part of the time you have the white sandy beach completely to yourself (Yes it is always safe). The area (Hauula) is on the opposite side of the island from the airport and Waikiki. About 45 minutes to an hour drive. It is not far from the Polynesian Cultural Center (about a 10 min.drive). The city bus line picks up directly in front of the unit. Sunset Beach is about 15 minutes away. Baywatch Hawaii was filmed about 25 minutes away in Haleiwa and North Shore on FOX was filmed 20 minutes away in the same direction. "Lost" is presently filming in Waialua past Haleiwa. Foodland Supermarket is a major chain in Hawaii and has one ten minutes away. The building is eight stories high. Avoid lengthy elevator waits on your vacation. It is thirty steps to a white secluded sandy beach. The ocean is calm because of a reef 1/4 mile out which blocks the waves. It is perfect snorkeling and swimming. The building has amenities like professional Bar-b-que area, workout/weight gym, swimming pool next to your unit and sunning area behind your unit. There is a small convenience store across the street to your left which is connected to a Subway Sandwich Franchise. Your parking stall is included and located right in front of the unit. The unit extends from one end of the building to the other and measures approximately 750 sq. ft.

We rented Michael's condo in July 2011 for 9 glorious days! We arrived to find delicious snacks and beverages! The condo is lovely, everything is provided, the bed was very comfortable and the bed linens, exquisite! Having a washer and dry available made my vacation relaxing. Awakening to the beauty outside the sliding door, breathtaking! Ground level is the best, truly steps to the beach, cool breezes, no need for air conditioning, just fresh ocean air. We enjoyed the peaceful, slow lane of life of the windward side of the island. Michael is available 24/7 and responds immediately to any needs. We recommend #109, Michael's unit! "We stayed in Hawaii for 10 days, 7 spent at this condo and 3 spent at a condo in Makaha. Our entire condo unit in Makaha could have fit in this condo's living area. Having the large bedroom, separate from the living area was a real benefit. The king sized top quality bed, felt like I was sleeping at home. The large bureau and end tables and full closet were great for storing all our clothing. The kitchen in this condo is first rate including all the supplies you would ever need- all top notch compared to our other condo. The dual sinks in the bathroom were a nice feature. There were even two sinks in the kitchen- nice! We could not believe that there was a lap top for us to use- what a huge benefit for getting around the Island, and finding things to do and learning about Oahu, not to mention keeping up with what was going on back hom. However, by far the most impressive aspect of this condo is the location. From the lanai you take about 15 steps across a well manicured lawn, onto a soft sandy beach, and jump into the warm, calm ocean water. You are not getting blasted by rolling surf, but can actually go for a swim, and snorkel in the reef. It is even safe for your kids to splash around in. The area is very quiet- far away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and there is no $20.00 per night parking fees, and your condo is not 3 blocks away from the beach. We visited Honolulu 3 times, a short 45 minute drive away, and visited Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, Diamond Head, The Sony Open Golf tournament, and many other locations, but loved coming home every night. There is no elevator to descend/ascend and no lenghty walks to the beach. You grab your coffee in the morning, walk out your screen door, and take your 15 stride walk to the beach, and watch the sunrise! Or go for a long walk along secluded, quiet beaches- far away from the maddening crowds!! I hope I have not missed anything. This was one of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had. I only wish I could have dragged this condo over to Makaha for our last three days!! Michael's description of his condo is 100% accurate and the photos reflect what you can expect. The Foodland Store is great (10-15 minutes away) and if you give them your phone # you get member prices- we saved $25.00 on a grocery bill of 140.00. The Polynesian Cultural Center and Brigham Young University with a beautiful cathedral and gardens is also nearby, as are three golf courses within 20 minutes- one of them is only $12.00 a round!" This ocean front condo was a beautiful unit with modern kitchen fixtures & furniture. The view of the ocean was indescribable. We were speechless when we first saw it, so blue & so peaceful. Each room has air-conditioning, a miniature fridge (Foodland groceries is nearby) and a bed. One set of linens (sheets & towel) is provided. Please note: there are no televisions, no telephones, no coffee-pots nor hotplates, no laundry and no maid service. This is barebones simplicty. There is one bathroom and coed shower down the hall. Each room varies in size and rates (one room does have its own private bathroom).

Lahaina?s Last Resort is located on HWY 30 at a primary intersection into town. From here its easy access to shopping, surfing, beaches, businesses, dining, bars and more! One of Lahaina?s best coffee shops is just across the street and there are two day spas in the immediate vacinty, Soleil Luna and Blue Bamboo. There is off-street parking available first come/first serve and we can hook you up with car rentals or a Maui Mini Cruiser. Discount activities are available here, so if a helicopter ride or snorkel boat tour or a zip line is on the itinerary then ask about special packages!

Add to that, the genuine Koa Breakfast Bar, the dining area, the nicely appointed Kitchen, and a large covered Lanai, and you have a great area for entertaining or having great conversations! Master bedroom (King) has full bath, walk in closet, and sliding door to private Lanai view. 2nd bedroom (Full) has large closet and sliding door to main Lanai area. really nice resort about 10 min drive from lahiana on the beach great pool restraunt near grocerystore nice jogging area we bought a home and dont use it any more the time share is also for sale. this is a floating week that includes parking, it is not the same deal the resort will try to sell you. they are ocean view units. you can purchase extra nights throught the resort at approx 350 a night. they are one bed room kingsize bed and a queen sleeper in the living room. rollaways and cribs are available, they have a kitchenette aand great beach front bbq,s. they also offer or did offer hula shows on site. see link to view the resort.

Aloha.
For a few years now many of you have seen my home on craigslist. In fact I'll post it again at the end of this ad.
Unfortunately, our home, as well as most homes in the Kapoho region book very early in the year. Finding a roof over ones head becomes a chore and many folks are left searching for anything to stay in, or settle for a lessor neighborhood.
My property manager, Winston Churchill, 808-960-1926, just had his brother move out from his downstairs area. Winston has the most beautiful, and largest ocean tidepool in his back yard. Nothing compares in the region.
Downstairs is nothing special, but if you like pulling up a chair on the lanai that sits right over the tidepool, feed the fish, and relax in Winstons' "Shangrila", give him or myself a call.
We're not going to kid anyone. It's kinda rough. Winston has a micro, fridge, but the law will not allow a stove in the house. But, there's a bbq outside.
He's just around the corner from our home. It's tranquil, lush and Winstons' hobby is planting all kinds of orchids, coconut trees, plumeria, etc.
Here's a pic of our home, and very soon I'll be posting pics of Winstons'. He's got pics. I don't.
This is a great find if your not fussy.

We stayed at Hale Queen Kalama for 7 days on the top level, and then after a 4-day exploration of the Volcano side, we returned for 4 days in the middle level. Both levels are wonderful--great comfort and Ohh the view! Plus, the location is stellar--close to 2 great beaches and in a quiet area. The owner is an awesome host, and our experience here greatly exceeded last year's stay in a Magic Sands condo. The kids loved the total access to their "own" private swimming pool, and mom loved the plumerias and landscaping. We are now back to our land-locked Midwestern lives, but we are secretly scheming on the quickest way to return for another slice of paradise! Thanks!

Going beach to beach on Oahu

Pipeline to the toilet bowl, beach lovers always tend to find flawless beaches in Hawaii

The island's 112 miles of coastline allows for more than 130 beaches, making for one of the most scenic drives in the world. Swim at your own risk, and try not to cause any accidents while driving around the island.

Assuming you're in Waikiki, you'll find a 2-mile string of a dozen beaches just outside your doorstep. They stretch from the Ala Wai Yacht Basin to Diamond Head and are known as Kuhio, Sans Souci, Gray's and Kahanamoku. Ala Moana Beach Park, just west of Waikiki, is a favorite of local residents.

Another popular South Shore beach is Hanauma Bay Nature Park on Kalaniana'ole Highway just past Hawaii Kai in East Honolulu. Hanauma Bay is great for snorkeling and sunbathing, but expect it to be crowded. Back on the highway headed east, you'll travel along a rugged swell-splashed coastline interrupted first by Sandy Beach and then by Makapu'u. Both beaches are beautiful, but sometimes treacherous. (Lifeguards make more rescues at these two beaches than anywhere else in Hawaii.)

Continue on down the highway to Waimanalo Town, where you'll find Waimanalo Bay Recreational Center and Beach Park, a 4-mile stretch of generally safe always beautiful white sand beach. Kailua Bay, a favorite windsurfing and sailing location, offers three miles of sand, small shorebreaks for the beginning bodysurfer, windsurfing lessons and relatively deserted stretches of beach.

Along the coast to the North Shore are several beach parks of note-Kualoa, Kahana, Hau'ula and Mala'ekahana, all beautiful and uncrowded except on weekends. Next come Oahu's major surf spots. Known as the 7 Mile Miracle stretch from Sunset Beach to Haleiwa, beaches include Rocky Point, Ehukai Beach Park, Banzai Pipeline, Pupukea and Waimea Bay.

During winter months, waves may reach heights of up to 25 feet making these beaches definitely off limits to casual swimmers. But then, you can always watch the big wave riders.

Water safety tips worth remembering: consult lifeguards about ocean conditions before entering the water; heed all warning signs; never swim alone; never go out farther than you can swim; if you see someone in distress call for a lifeguard or dial 911; know your limits — if in doubt, don't go out; and never take what you can't carry (leave your valuables at home.)

Skin precautions are also recommended. Adjust to the sun gradually and use a broad-spectrum sunblock cream or lotion with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15, maybe 21 or higher. (Many Oahu lifeguards use 30+ SPF.)

Your journey begins as you head to the windward side of the Island over the Ko’olau Mountains. Located at the base of a stunning 2,000-foot lush green cliff lies the fabled Valley of the Temples and picturesque Byodo Temple. Traveling North to Kahana Bay, your guide will happily point out native plants and seabird species at Laie Point before arriving at Kahuku where you’ll visit several shrimp farms for a glimpse of some endangered wetland birds.

Further North you’ll arrive at the famous North Shore beaches, Sunset Beach and Banzai Pipeline offer incredible waves that thrill viewers and professional surfers during the winter months, November-April. Photo opportunities await at Hale O Lono Heiau, one of Oahu's best preserved temples. Situated inside the lush Waimea Valley, this unique archaeological site is an excellent site to learn about Hawaiian native religion.

Finishing your journey are stops at Turtle Beach, colorful historic Haleiwa Town and Dole Plantation.
