Turn your Maui dreams into reality! There's still time for a fabulous summer vacation on a beautiful beach. Our 2010 and 2011 weeks have been booking up fast, but we still have some remaining intermittent summer availability starting July 31. And our remaining summer dates through September 22 departure have now been discounted from $265 to $165 plus taxes per night, plus departure cleaning fee and security deposit, for up to four guests staying at least 5 nights!! (Airfares to Maui are excellent right now too, but who knows how long that will last.) We also have some open fall dates, and a bit of remaining availability for high season 2011.

This condo is a fantastic choice for those whose priority is to stay in a gorgeous, recently remodeled vacation home with all the comforts, as close as possible to the ocean and beach-- enjoying spectacular vistas from throughout the condo. You'll be able to watch both sunrise over Haleakala and the ocean, and sunset over the west Maui coastline from our lanai . Our condo is a premium, direct ocean beachfront unit, situated at the northernmost end of Sugar Beach, Maui's longest sandy beach, which stretches southward for several miles through an undeveloped nature preserve all the way down to North Kihei-- so it is quite spectacular. Yet our condo is only about a 15-20 minute drive from the airport and the "real" shopping available in Kahului, and is a great, centrally located, "home base" from which to explore the island. Our area is the driest, sunniest part of Maui, with the wonderful trade wind breezes providing a welcome cooling effect for outdoor activities in the warm afternoons.

While the condo is located in a very quiet and unspoiled location, we are within walking distance of the Maui Ocean Center-- a phenomenal, world class aquarium and ocean learning center that delights children of all ages; the Maalaea Bay Marina--- from which you can take boat tours out for whale or dolphin-watching (depending upon season), sightseeing or snorkeling, etc., and their associated shops and restaurants, a five star seafood restaurant, and a miniature golf/ family fun center. A number of nice "real" golf courses can also be found within a very short drive.

Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo can sleep up to six people, depending upon the sleeping arrangements required. It works very well for a couple or two, and for families. Our master bedroom has a king-sized bed; the guest bedroom has twins (which can also be made up as a king), and there is a queen-sized pull-out couch in the living room. All beds, including the pull-out, are topped with memory foam, and are quite comfortable. Since we provide all linens, including beach towels and guest robes-- even robes for children, and have a full sized washer and dryer in the unit, you can pack as lightly as you choose! The guest bedroom is equipped with its own flat screen TV and DVD/ VCR player, and stocked with family and child friendly movies. The master bedroom also has its own flat screen TV. Our gourmet kitchen is as fully equipped as our kitchen at home, with all the major and minor appliances, and lots of gadgets. Our condo provides free local phone service, which includes all of Maui, and free long distance to the entire USA, territories, and Canada, as well as free high speed internet (you can use either wireless or the plug-in modem).

The condo features a private lanai approximately 20 feet from the waves, and incredible ocean views from all rooms except for the baths (there is an ocean view on two sides in the master bedroom). You'll enjoy sitting just above the surf, sipping your morning coffee or a cool afternoon drink, watching the whales in season, or enjoying the night sky that seems to sparkle so much brighter there! Since we face south, you also get a view of dormant Haleakala Volcano in the distance and get to enjoy both sunrises and sunsets from our lanai and beach! The beach out front is great for swimming, beach combing and boogie boarding, as well as long, leisurely walks. The beautiful, tropically landscaped grounds also include a large grassy lawn with barbecues and tables/ picnic area, as well as a fenced-in, solar heated, freshwater pool with chaise lounges and chairs surrounding it-- all right next to the ocean. The building has elevators, and parking is free.

Our place is among a surprisingly small number of condo complexes in Maui to be RIGHT ON the ocean beach! The walk along the undeveloped beach stretching to the south from the condo makes you feel like you are on your own private island. You can walk along it without seeing a building, and sometimes without seeing another person, from the beach in front of the condo two doors down from us all the way to North Kihei, five miles away. This is the most sheltered beach on all of Maui, and the surf is normally very gentle, with few currents to worry about.

Another nice thing about our condo is that it is fully air conditioned throughout. Most "air conditioned" condos in Maui have only a window air conditioner in the living room.

Our peaceful and lovely vacation home is the perfect spot for a family vacation, honeymoon, anniversary celebration, or just a quiet getaway. And we are offering new, lower rates this year to try and help more people afford a nice stay on Maui. Rates depend upon season, occupancy, and length of stay, normally ranging from $200 to $350 plus taxes per night. YES! White powdery sand beach directly behind condo. This is a true one bedroom that sleeps up to six comfortably. It is not one of those studios with a small bed niche that others at the complex (Pats at Punaluu) try to pass off as a one bedroom. This unit is the ground floor corner unit, the most preferred location so you can avoid lengthy elevator waits on your vacation. All visitors have agreed that this unit is absolutely the best location in the building. Luxurious upgrades include granite counter top, travertine type flooring, $3,000 massage chair and state of the art ceiling fans. It has a cherry wood sleigh King bed with pillowtop mattress in the bedroom, a full size "top of the line" futon couch which is more comfortable than a bed (at a cost of more than $400 for the futon mattress alone), 2 single futons and even an extra full size king air mattress with pump and lots of extra linens. There is a Pentium IV computer in the bedroom that has unlimited high speed internet access and Wi-Fi for your laptops. The unit is stocked with quality snorkeling equipment, quality Boogie boards, movie video library and even books. There is a full kitchen with large refrigerator, stove/oven, pots, pans, dishes and silverware, paintings of ocean and ocean life, track lighting in both front and back rooms, acrylic glass set, microwave containers, knife set, 'patio set with cushions .....Also deluxe toaster oven w/rotisserie, automatic rice cooker, 2 color TVs, VCR, DVD Player, Panasonic microwave, coffee maker and grinder, Kenmore washer/dryer, remote phone, leather Recliner chair and clock radio/CD player in the bedroom. You will enjoy visiting because part of the time you have the white sandy beach completely to yourself (Yes it is always safe). The area (Hauula) is on the opposite side of the island from the airport and Waikiki. About 45 minutes to an hour drive. It is not far from the Polynesian Cultural Center (about a 10 min.drive). The city bus line picks up directly in front of the unit. Sunset Beach is about 15 minutes away. Baywatch Hawaii was filmed about 25 minutes away in Haleiwa and North Shore on FOX was filmed 20 minutes away in the same direction. "Lost" is presently filming in Waialua past Haleiwa. Foodland Supermarket is a major chain in Hawaii and has one ten minutes away. The building is eight stories high. Avoid lengthy elevator waits on your vacation. It is thirty steps to a white secluded sandy beach. The ocean is calm because of a reef 1/4 mile out which blocks the waves. It is perfect for kids to enjoy snorkeling and swimming. The building has amenities like professional Bar-b-que area, gym with sauna, swimming pool next to your unit and sunning area behind your unit. Your parking stall is included and located right in front of the unit. This is the ground floor, corner unit. This is the preferred size and location. The unit extends from one end of the building to the other and measures approximately 850 sq. ft. The normal rate is $174 per night. I have temporarily dropped the price to $139 except for the Holiday period from December 15 to January 15. This is a temporary special rate. Rate is based on occupancy of up to four people. Please add $9 per night per person after four.

This is all ocean view and on the ground floor so there are no steps to negotiate. And yes, your parking stall is provided at no extra charge directly in front of the unit. The free local telephone service will save money compared to hotels.

The condo was perfectly situated and we enjoyed the beach and its beautiful water/view. 10/19/09 Positive Looking for someplace to really kick-back? This is just for you. Perfectly situated on the eastern side of the island, great for exploring all of Oahu and still have a quiet home base to return to. There's big waves and lots of surfing and shopping close by to the North (don't forget the Turtles, FANTASTIC!) and easy to make your way around the whole island from Punalu'u. Swim in the pool. We found the beach in our own back yard to be the BEST! Snorkel, swim, sunbath. Perfect water temperature. The condo is great and you really feel welcome, just home. Everything you need for cooking, relaxing, entertainment, even a washer and dryer (don't over pack like I did). We don't have kids but there seemed to be a more than ample supply of things for children and besides if your kids are anything like what ours used to be like they will never want to get out of the water. 10/09/09 Positive Our family of 4 stayed in this beachfront condo for 6 days at the end of September and had a blast! The condo was well stocked with beach equipment and electronics for the kids. 08/13/09 Positive Aloha! We stayed at this condo for 22 wonderful days. While we were originally cautious about booking such a long stay, sight unseen, I will say that his condo is exactly as described. Everything we could have needed or wanted. Beach gear and toys for all ages, lots of extra towels and sheets, huge paperback library, we borrowed 1 and left several of our own. Very well stocked kitchen. Best of all... location location location. We could stay home at pool or beach, or be a short 20-30 minute drive from Kanehoe, Kailua, or Makapuu to the south or 20 min. north to the best snorkeling at Sharks Cove & 3 Tables (don't waste $$ or time on Hanuama Bay, too crowded), surfing at Chen's reef. Just the best. NOTE: shop at Foodland at Sharks Cove rather than Laie, much cheaper! Giovanni's Shrimp was GREAT. Emmanuel checked in with us, more than once, to make sure all was well. We had one very small issue and he took care of it right away. I give this 2 thumbs up!! I don't think you will be disappointed. 07/20/09 Positive No Regrets!! Aloha paradise everything you hear about this condo is true! Emmanuel you are a very honest man. With minutes away from boarding our plane I called you (Emmanuel) with an issue that you took immediate action and helped us...so thank you. As far as the condo goes, it is a best kept secret with its own private beach like feeling. My sister booked at Turtle Bay Resort and paid twice what we paid. The beach was very crowded and a five minute walk. As for Emmanuel's condo the beach was only 30 steps away ..I enjoyed the massage chair and everything else. PCC was only minutes away. 06/22/09 Positive We had a wonderful and comfortable stay in this unit. It's a corner first floor unit with the lanai fronting the pool and the ocean beyond. For us ex-kamaaina's it was good to be away from "concrete city" (Waikiki) and revisit island living. It was great to be so close to Turtle Bay for golfing/drinks; stop in at Crouching Lion for dinner/drinks; shop at Tamura's (cheaper than Foodland); and be sure to go to the Polynesian Cultural Center about 5 miles away. 04/12/09 Positive Can't say much about the place other than paradise. Comfortable, and simply adorable. We really enjoyed the patio overlooking the beach every morning while we sipped on our coffee. Very relaxing. Literally steps away from the quiet beach and miles away from the busy city. If you are seeking a restful and secluded place for your future vacation then stay here!!! Accommodations were nothing but exceptional (they even had nail polisher remover and cotton balls!!!) We visited the Dole pineapple plantation and it was really fun and short. 03/31/09 Positive Great experience. The beach was pristine and all to ourselves. The water was calm and very inviting.There was plenty of snorkel gear provided for us to use. The beaches on this part of the island were beautiful, calm and empty. The drive into waikiki was beautiful and easy, about 30 minutes.This side of the island is far enough from waikiki to get away, but close enough to drive into as we did. 02/16/09 Positive My wife and I spent 3 nights at this condo and really enjoyed it. Its in a perfect spot to really see all of the island and just far enough away from downtown to feel like you are away from the rat race. The beach is really nice although we were unlucky with the weather. The natives told us that the windy overcast weather we experienced was unusual but we were able to get one good day at the beach. 02/12/09 Positive Can I just say...BEAUTIFUL?!!! It's steps away from the beach. He has so much snorkeling equipment (fins, masks, snorkels)... You can snorkel right out in front of the property. There is a private beach, really peaceful... So one way you get an amazing view of the beach, and the other way, you get a view of the beautiful mountains... So PERFECT! The condo has internet access, tv, huge king sized bed, futon, enclosed patio (but the breeze just flows right through). Towels, laundry facilities in the unit, pots, pans, cups, blankets, pillows... Seriously, everything you need is there! It's a very nicely decorated unit!!!! But also has that beachy, laid-back Hawaiian feel to it. I am SOOOOOO glad I found this place! 02/10/09 Positive Excellent property, super clean, no bugs or wet or anything negative, lots of supplies, dishes etc. Excellent size, everything worked great, super great beach, quiet with excellent security, great people in building. But the best part is the owner, so honest, upstanding and genuinely concerned about his guests. Don't be afraid to rent from this owner, he didn't get all these positive comments for nothing - didn't get to meet him but he felt like family via emails and the phone. 01/31/09 Positive This was our first trip to Hawaii, and although we only stayed here for 3 days, it was an absolutely positive experience. The snorkeling equipment was used every day, and it was so awesome to wake up to the sound and view of the ocean. We were experiencing Oahu as much as we could during our short stay, so did not spend much time actually being indoors, but it was a very relaxing and calming place to return to at the end of our adventures. Very clean and well supplied, it felt like our home away from home. The gentlemen who work there were also very helpful and friendly. 10/05/08 Positive What a wonderful condo for us to enjoy on our very first trip to Hawaii in September this year. Very nicely decorated, very clean and within 30 steps to the beach, where the water was absolutely beautiful & calm. Everyday we practically had the beach to ourselves, where we made use of the snorkling equipment provided. We saw many different beautiful schools of fish, a morey eel & a sea turtle one day. We enjoyed sitting out on the lanai every morning to have our breakfast and enjoy the view. If you turn right out of the condos, you can enjoy a very nice 30 minuite drive to Sunset Beach and watch the surfers. Another 15 minutes or so to we were at Haleiwa with its cool atmosphere, plenty of nice restaurants and shops. We loved driving to Waikiki and shopping at the International Market. 07/31/08 Positive Our family had a wonderful seven day visit at the condo. Before arriving, we were a little concerned about finding comfortable accommodations for all six of us. Upon arriving we were pleased to find that there was plenty of room and bedding for all. Everything was as described on the website. Boogie boards and snorkeling equipment were great and everyone was able to find equipment that fit! Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, spices and basics. Pool, patio area and beach were only steps away. (Great area for snorkeling and calm beach for the kids.) Computer with internet was a big help. Always felt safe on the beach and in the neighborhood. We were a little apprehensive before arriving because we had found the condo on the internet. We are now totally thrilled with the rental. 07/02/08 Positive Fantastic! This condo is right on the beach. I love the three dining tables with umbrellas adjacent to the swimming pool area. I didn't get a sunburn and I was out in the sun for 2 days on the beach. I had a nice glass of wine and some snacks at the tables as the sun set on the beautiful beach. The water is calmer early in the morning. I found the afternoon surf and undertow quite strong. I would recommend swimming in the morning if possible. The condo was great. Highly recommended. As past guests have commented, we too were a little hesitant renting on line but you can rest assured, it is exactly as described in print and in pictures. This truly was THE BEST unit in the building. You cannot get any closer to the beach, which had no more than 6 people on it at any given time. The sunrises were amazing and Mr. Chen supplies you with everything you could possibly need for a really enjoyable holiday. The King size bed was sooo comfortable! This air-conditioned one bedroom condominium has lots of upgrades and additions. This is not one of those rentals that advertise close to the beach but is actually on the polluted Ala Wai Canal nor is it one of those residential walk up buildings touting "AFFORDABLE LUXURY" that has no elevators thus leaving you to carry your luggage up and down many flights of stairs. Kalakaua is where all the major hotels are one block to the beach. HOW TO GET TO THE BEACH FROM THE CONDO: Go out the front of the building and Right at the sidewalk to the corner. Turn Right at the corner without crossing the street. At the next corner you will be adjacent to the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa (the best beach of Waikiki). Just cross the street. The unit is equipped with a Pentium IV computer that allows high speed internet access and Wi-Fi for your laptops. This is an immaculate one bedroom that sleeps four comfortably. It has a Deluxe King bed in the bedroom and a very comfortable sleeper couch bed with lots of extra linens. There is also a single futon with linens. This suite has been stocked with X Box & games and a movie video library. It boasts a full kitchen with brand new refrigerator, stove/oven, pots, pans, rice cooker, dishes and silverware. Also deluxe Sharper Image T-Fal toaster, heavy duty blender, 2 color TVs, 2 stereos(CD & Tape), 2 VCRs, 2 DVD Players, Panasonic microwave, tea pot, coffee maker and grinder, 2 remote phones, 2 smoke alarms, iron and ironing board, large vacuum w/hand vacuum, alarm clock radio/CD player and ipod docking station/player/charger in the bedroom. The unit is on the second floor and easily accessible by stairs or elevator....just 5 steps from the elevator and parking. You will enjoy visiting because of your proximity to the beach, (Hilton Hawaiiian Village Beach Resort and Spa) and ocean activities, shopping (Ala Moana Shopping Center), grocery store (The Food Pantry), night life, restaurants and of course the new Hawaii Convention Center. Nearby activities: Golf, Tennis, Fishing, Wildlife Viewing, Shopping, Restaurants, Live Theater, Cinemas, Museums, Sightseeing, Swimming, Snorkeling & Diving, Boating, Sailing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Parasailing, Jet Skiing, Shelling. The unit is one block to the beach and (Waikiki) is just 25 minutes from the airport. You can find cheaper units, but this is by far the most for your money. The normal rate is $129 per night. I have temporarily dropped the price to $99 except for the Holiday period from December 15 to January 15. This is a temporary special rate. Rate is based on double occupancy. Please add $14 per person per night after two people.

07/13/10 Positive My wife and I had a wonderful week, at your Condo. We were only able to stay a week due to the booked up time, for your unit. The Condo is immaculate.. That is the first thing my wife said to me when we got inside. IT IS SO CLEAN. You have taken the time and effort to maintain this standard and everyone that stays there has and will enjoy that quality. The condo provides you with every possible video treat you can imagine, however most of the items were lost on us, as we were too busy enjoying the outdoor sites and too tired at night to play with the toys. Manny I highly recommend this unit of yours. Never saw a BUG in the place the whole time we were there, and that is because of your high standard of clean. Hope everyone that visits keeps this up. The free parking was wonderful, as I found out when I had to leave and was charged $22.00 per night to park my car. That apparently is reasonable as some rates are up to $35.00 per night. 3/16/10 Positive My daughter and I just stayed here and found this condo simply wonderful. Since I am a neat freak the cleanliness was very important for my daughter and I. The apartment really was immaculate. We went to the beach everyday which is literally a five minute walk to the biggest sandy beach area of Waikiki. It was a real plus to have a convenient, secure parking stall (Waikiki size). We were absolutely giddy to have shopping and restaurants all within walking distance including the Ala Moana Center. Top floor end unit in a 8 unit complex on a dead end small street that has very little traffic and is extremely quiet - this is not a large building with a front desk and kids / people running around all day making noise - when it gets dark at night you can hear a pin drop outside and there are quiet hours after 10 P.M. Sunday - Thursday and midnight on weekends.


My condo was totally remodeled a few years ago w/ hard wood floors, granite countertops in the kitchen, stainless steel appliances, etc. - the kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to cook and prepare meals during your visit. Our beautiful new home is located in a small oceanside community called Vacationland. but, don't let the name vacationland fool you, because, here in Vacationland, located on the ocean in a remote third world setting, we have no hotels, motels, traffic or traffic lights, large crowds or vog. vog is sulpher dioxide omissions, given off by the on going volcano.
The Kapoho tidepools, a vast area that is comprised of volcanic pools of ocean water, loaded with tropical fish and beautiful marine corals, and even sea turtles, is a four minute walk from our front door. Easy access to the most beautiful snorkeling area reserve on the Island. I can't say enough about the tidepools, but in a nutshell here's a good thought. My 3 year old granddaughter came to the Kapoho tidepools two years ago. Now she's five and returning. All she talks about is the fishies in the tidepools. Now if that's not a life long memory, I don't know what is.
When asked by some of our guests to describe the tidepools, I tell them it's like visiting the largest salt water fish tank you can imagine, jumping in, loaded with soooo many tropical fish, except there's over a 100 of them.
Now surrounding Kapoho are papaya farms, orchid ranches, tropical rainforest drives, black sand beaches of kehena and Kalapana. Now I hear the lava flow has shifted and flowing once again. This is a spectacular sight to visit. And you can only get there from our side of the Island. The east side. not the Kona side. We're one hour from volcano national park.
Our home is as seen in the pics below. Beautiful. fully furnished, cable tv. no internet service at this time. We have surround sound in our cupala, large open beam construction with tongue and groove white pine ceilings, ceiling fans in all rooms, fresh city water, not catchment, three bedrooms two baths. An outside covered wrap around walkway which leads to our ocean view lanai and star view terrace. We're only 500 feet from the ocean. You can sit on the lanai at night and hear clearly the pounding surf. When asked how far away the ocean is, I reply, "about as far as a person with a good arm can throw a baseball. ".
Pahoa is our closest town. About 12 minutes from our home. Here, you'll find banking, malamana shopping center, subway, fish market, beauty salons, gifts, and even jungle love for paraphanalia.

Grand Wailea Pools and Access: The only way to gain access to the Grand Wailea is to rent directly from the Grand Wailea or Ho’olei at a higher rate, or rent from an owner on VRBO in the Ho’olei rental program with a 15% discount off the same GW/Ho’olei rate. Be very wary of any owner that offers rates lower than 15% off, with use of the Grand Wailea. This is strictly forbidden and the owner will get caught! The only question is when will they get caught and will it be before your visit.

Going beach to beach on Oahu

Pipeline to the toilet bowl, beach lovers always tend to find flawless beaches in Hawaii

The island's 112 miles of coastline allows for more than 130 beaches, making for one of the most scenic drives in the world. Swim at your own risk, and try not to cause any accidents while driving around the island.

Assuming you're in Waikiki, you'll find a 2-mile string of a dozen beaches just outside your doorstep. They stretch from the Ala Wai Yacht Basin to Diamond Head and are known as Kuhio, Sans Souci, Gray's and Kahanamoku. Ala Moana Beach Park, just west of Waikiki, is a favorite of local residents.

Another popular South Shore beach is Hanauma Bay Nature Park on Kalaniana'ole Highway just past Hawaii Kai in East Honolulu. Hanauma Bay is great for snorkeling and sunbathing, but expect it to be crowded. Back on the highway headed east, you'll travel along a rugged swell-splashed coastline interrupted first by Sandy Beach and then by Makapu'u. Both beaches are beautiful, but sometimes treacherous. (Lifeguards make more rescues at these two beaches than anywhere else in Hawaii.)

Continue on down the highway to Waimanalo Town, where you'll find Waimanalo Bay Recreational Center and Beach Park, a 4-mile stretch of generally safe always beautiful white sand beach. Kailua Bay, a favorite windsurfing and sailing location, offers three miles of sand, small shorebreaks for the beginning bodysurfer, windsurfing lessons and relatively deserted stretches of beach.

Along the coast to the North Shore are several beach parks of note-Kualoa, Kahana, Hau'ula and Mala'ekahana, all beautiful and uncrowded except on weekends. Next come Oahu's major surf spots. Known as the 7 Mile Miracle stretch from Sunset Beach to Haleiwa, beaches include Rocky Point, Ehukai Beach Park, Banzai Pipeline, Pupukea and Waimea Bay.

During winter months, waves may reach heights of up to 25 feet making these beaches definitely off limits to casual swimmers. But then, you can always watch the big wave riders.

Water safety tips worth remembering: consult lifeguards about ocean conditions before entering the water; heed all warning signs; never swim alone; never go out farther than you can swim; if you see someone in distress call for a lifeguard or dial 911; know your limits β€” if in doubt, don't go out; and never take what you can't carry (leave your valuables at home.)

Skin precautions are also recommended. Adjust to the sun gradually and use a broad-spectrum sunblock cream or lotion with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15, maybe 21 or higher. (Many Oahu lifeguards use 30+ SPF.)

Your journey begins as you head to the windward side of the Island over the Ko’olau Mountains. Located at the base of a stunning 2,000-foot lush green cliff lies the fabled Valley of the Temples and picturesque Byodo Temple. Traveling North to Kahana Bay, your guide will happily point out native plants and seabird species at Laie Point before arriving at Kahuku where you’ll visit several shrimp farms for a glimpse of some endangered wetland birds.

Further North you’ll arrive at the famous North Shore beaches, Sunset Beach and Banzai Pipeline offer incredible waves that thrill viewers and professional surfers during the winter months, November-April. Photo opportunities await at Hale O Lono Heiau, one of Oahu's best preserved temples. Situated inside the lush Waimea Valley, this unique archaeological site is an excellent site to learn about Hawaiian native religion.

Finishing your journey are stops at Turtle Beach, colorful historic Haleiwa Town and Dole Plantation.
